Rebuilding of the wall - part 3

Nehemiah 2:13:17 "I went out by night by the Valley Gate toward the Dragon's Well and to the Dung Gate and inspected the walls of Jerusalem, which were broken down, and its gates, which had been destroyed by fire. I passed over to the Fountain Gate and to the King's Pool, but there was no place for the beast that was under me to pass. So [gradually] I went up by the brook [Kidron] in the night and inspected the wall; then I turned back and entered [the city] by the Valley Gate, and so returned. And the magistrates knew not where I went or what I did; nor had I yet told the Jews, the priests, the nobles, the officials, or the rest who did the work. Then I said to them, You see the bad situation we are in--how Jerusalem lies in ruins, and its gates are burned with fire. Come, let us build up the wall of Jerusalem, that we may no longer be a disgrace."
- it has happend that somebody came to me and talked about my destroyed wall (like in the chapter 1 - some people said to Nehemiah about Jerusalem),
- I should be bold enough to see this broken wall with my eyes, eyes of my heart too - believe me, it is not easy sometimes :)
- and I should be brave enough to acknowledge the truth

John 3:30-36

"He must increase, but I must decrease. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all. And what He has seen and heard, that He testifies; and no one receives His testimony. He who has received His testimony has certified that God is true. For He whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God does not give the Spirit by measure. The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into His hand. He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."

Oğul'a iman edenin sonsuz yaşamı vardır. Ama Oğul'un sözünü dinlemeyen yaşamı görmeyecektir. Tanrı'nın gazabı böylesinin üzerinde kalır." Yuhanna 3:30-36

Rebuilding of the wall - part 2

Nehemiah 2:2-8 "So the king said to me, Why do you look sad, since you are not sick? This is nothing but sorrow of heart. Then I was very much afraid and said to the king, Let the king live forever! Why should I not be sad faced when the city, the place of my fathers' sepulchers, lies waste, and its [fortified] gates are consumed by fire? The king said to me, For what do you ask? So I prayed to the God of heaven.... And the king granted what I asked, for the good hand of my God was upon me."
- Jesus, the King of kings, is interested in me. Moreover He knows everything - the source why the wall was destroyed and the solution for rebuilding too,
- He gives what I need and His mercy is with me always.

Rebuilding of the wall

When I decided to read the Bible in my lunch time, I opened (by accident:)) the book of Nehemiah. I started to read and I was amazed. I read about stricken Jerusalem, about poor people living there, about the prophet´s response to news he heard, his crying, lamenting and prayer before God. And finally, about restoration of Jerusalem´s wall. There were some verses that God used for talking to me. I didn´t know how to write it continuously so I decided to write only thougths that rose up in my mind.
Nehemiah 1:3-4 "And they said to me, The remnant there in the province who escaped exile are in great trouble and reproach; the wall of Jerusalem is broken down, and its [fortified] gates are destroyed by fire. When I heard this, I sat down and wept and mourned for days and fasted and prayed [constantly] before the God of heaven..."
- the wall of my life can be destroyed sometimes,
- seeing this destruction is not nice, it makes me cry and pray before God.

Great experience

Glory to God!!! I´ve found time for posting again. I haven´t writen anything for many months. But during that time I´ve experienced many wonderful events. Especially God´s mercy. I was operated and I spent five days in hospital. When I came back home, my Love came to me. I thought sometimes that I experienced some events before. And the time together was wonderful. God was with us (and He still is :)), we could share things we couldn´t share before coz of distance, we learnt to collaborate, to solve problems and misundestandings... And I´m bold to say that our relationship is stronger and stronger day by day. God is the one who strengthens us. Without Him our relationship would be without a success. I know that very well.
I´d like to encourage you - don´t try to hide yourself before your past. Don´t try to forget only. All your hidden worries, experiences, shame, any kind of fear... and anything what holds you and separates you from the true life in Jesus - put them on the light of Jesus Christ.
"But when anything is exposed and reproved by the light, it is made visible and clear; and where everything is visible and clear there is light." Ephesians 5:13
"Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come! But all things are from God,..." 2. Corinthians 5:17-18
The enemy HAS BEEN DEFEATED!!! GO ON IN JESUS!!! HOLD ON IN JESUS!!!
