"For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness." Psalm 84:10

Rebuilding of the wall - part 5

Nehemiah 4:6-6:15 „So we built the wall, and the entire wall was joined together up to half its height, for the people had a mind to work . ... Then Judah said, “The strength of the laborers is failing, and there is so much rubbish that we are not able to build the wall. ... And I looked, and arose and said to the nobles, to the leaders, and to the rest of the people, “Do not be afraid of them. Remember the Lord, great and awesome, and fight for your brethren, your sons, your daughters, your wives, and your houses. ... So neither I, my brethren, my servants, nor the men of the guard who followed me took off our clothes, except that everyone took them off for washing. ... Now it happened when Sanballat, Tobiah, Geshem the Arab, and the rest of our enemies heard that I had rebuilt the wall, and that there were no breaks left in it (though at that time I had not hung the doors in the gates), that Sanballat and Geshem sent to me, saying, “Come, let us meet together among the villages in the plain of Ono.” But they thought to do me harm. So I sent messengers to them, saying, “I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down. Why should the work cease while I leave it and go down to you? ... For they all were trying to make us afraid, saying, “Their hands will be weakened in the work, and it will not be done.” Now therefore, O God, strengthen my hands. ... So the wall was finished on the twenty-fifth day of Elul, in fifty-two days.”
- everything I do I have to do with all of my heart, especially if I am led by God,
- I can feel myself tired and frustrated when I don´t see the result/the change immediately,
- it is good to have somebody around me who can encourage me, pray with me and for me, who can give me a piece of advice or any kind of support,
- it is necessary being always ready to fight with the enemy. God´s armour - Ephesian 6:11-18,
- the enemy always tries to stop my work, he tries to decieve/cheat us, intimidate us, using things, word and situation that can look like coming from God, but I must be focused on the work that God has told me to do, looking on Jesus the author and finisher of my faith.
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!!! Philippians 4:13
